Rose Ring Parakeet

The Rose Ringneck Parakeet

Scientific name: Psittacula krameri

Colour: Red beaks. Wild Ringnecks have a green body and yellow underlines the tail and wing feathers. Many domestically bred clour varieties.


Size: is about 16 inches head to tip of tail.

Sexing: matured males have a prominent black ring. Females hsa ring too, not hard too see.

Ringnecks breed easily in captivity. These are the two I have bred. Hand fed and they are adults now and may be ready for breeding soon.
